Overview

AIHub (operating at ai.toolly.site) is part of the Toolly.site ecosystem. We build AI writing tools that work entirely in your browser. This means your text never leaves your device unless you explicitly submit it for AI processing through our API partners.

We believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature. This policy describes what minimal data we interact with, how it's used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions after reading this, please reach out — we're happy to clarify.

Short version: We don't store your writing. We use local storage for preferences and cookies for analytics. That's it.

Information We Collect

We interact with two categories of data:

Information you provide

  • Text inputs: When you use our AI writing tools, the text you enter is sent to our AI API partners (OpenAI / Anthropic) for processing. This text is not stored on our servers.
  • Support requests: If you contact us, we retain the content of your communication to resolve your issue.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which tools are popular and how visitors find us. This includes page views, referral source, and approximate geographic region (country-level).
  • Technical data: Browser type, device type, and screen resolution — used solely for optimization.
  • Local storage: Theme preference (dark/light) is stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

How We Use Information

We use the limited data we interact with for the following purposes:

  • To provide the service: Process your text through AI models and return results.
  • To improve our tools: Understand which tools are used most and optimize accordingly.
  • To communicate with you: Respond to support requests and send essential service notifications (if you've provided your email).
  • To prevent abuse: Detect and prevent automated abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.

We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your writing to train AI models.

You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing local storage will reset your theme preference.

Data Storage & Processing

AIHub is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Here's how data flows through our system:

  • All tools: Text input is sent directly from your browser to our AI API provider, processed, and returned. We do not route it through our own servers.
  • No server-side text storage: We do not maintain databases of user-generated content. Once the AI response is returned to your browser, the text is no longer in our system.
  • Logs: Server logs may contain IP addresses and request timestamps for security purposes. These logs are automatically purged after 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate AIHub:

  • OpenAI (GPT models): Processes text for GPT-based tools. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude models): Processes text for Claude-based tools. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics provider: Provides anonymous usage statistics. No personally identifiable information is shared.

We carefully select partners with strong privacy practices. However, once your text is sent to an AI provider, it's subject to their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

  • Text inputs: Not retained. Text is processed in real-time and not stored.
  • Server logs: 30 days, then automatically purged.
  • Local storage: Persists until you clear browser data.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the following rights:

  • Right to access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing: Request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: Object to certain types of processing.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for processing at any time.

Children's Privacy

AIHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll display a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of AIHub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
